6.Mechanical Characteristics

 
6-1. Soldering heat resistance
The Humidity Sensor should be kept its original appearance and electrical Characteristics after soldered for 3 seconds at 270 ± 5℃ temperature condition.
 
6-2. Termination strength
The lead terminal should be safe after pulled with it by 500g force for 10 seconds.
 
6-3. Shock resistance
The Humidity Sensor should be kept its original appearance and electrical characteristic after falling down 5 times on the hard place from 70cm height.
 
6-4. Vibration resistance
The Humidity Sensor should be kept its original appearance and electrical 10-55Hz characteristic after testing the vibration for 2 hours in each direction (X.Y.Z) frequency in the box (10 × 60 × 10)

7. Reliability

 
7-1. Humidity resistance
Put it for 1000 hours at 40℃ and 90% RH, put it more for 1 hour in usual humidity and temperature conditions. After that, the value is changed within ±3% RH from the initial value .
 
7-2. Humidity cycle
One cycle should be to put for 30 minutes at 25℃and 30% RH continue to put it for 30 minutes while raising to 90% RH, put it for 30 minutes at 90% RH and put it more for 30minutes while lowering to 30% RH. Repeat 500 these cycles, usual humidity and temperature conditions. After that, the value is changed within ±5% RH from the initial value.
 
7-3. Temperature cycle
One cycle should be to put for 30 minutes at -30℃ continue to put it for 30 minutes while raising the temperature to 85℃, put it for 30 minutes at 85℃ and put it more for 30 minutes while lowering the temperature to - 30℃. Repeat these cycles 100 times, then put it for 1 hour in usual condition. After that, the value is not changed out of ±5% RH from the initial value.
 
7-4. Heat resistance
Put it for 1000 hours at 80℃ and 30% RH, and put it more for 1 hour in usual humidity and temperature conditions. After that, the value is not changed out of ± 5% RH from the initial value.
 
7-5. Cool resistance
Put it for 1000 hours at -30℃, put it more for 1 hour in usual humidity and temperature conditions. After that, the value is not changed out of ± 5% RH from the initial value.

8. Caution in using the Humidity Sensor

Please beware of using the following gas.
* Solvent, Organic gas, Alcohol, Glycol.
* NOx, ammonia inorganic gas, sox.
* Anionic ionizer, salty air.

Do not use it in too much wet or condensed condition.

Do not use DC to the Humidity Sensor.
